The OxIMP study is investigating the effect of an
antioxidant drug called Ebselen in people with depression.
The study involves adding ebselen or placebo to your current antidepressant medication for seven days and examining how this affects performance on computer tasks influenced by emotional state.
Time and expenses will be reimbursed.
We are looking for individuals with depression (between 18-70 years old) who have been taking an antidepressant for at least a few weeks but are still feeling depressed.
Also, we are looking for people ≥ 18 who are healthy, without any history of mental illness and not taking any medication, to help to explore differences between healthy and depressed individuals.
